Welcome to My Tandem App. By creating an account or using this application, you agree to the following terms.

Description of Service

My Tandem App is a personal monitoring dashboard for Tandem t:slim X2 insulin pump users. It connects to your Tandem Source account to display glucose readings, insulin (cartridge) levels, pump battery status, and to send low-insulin alerts.

Not a Medical Device

My Tandem App is an informational tool only and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and must not be used as a substitute for your pump's built-in alarms, your CGM, or professional medical advice. Always rely on your pump and CGM device directly for clinical decisions. Alerts may be delayed, fail to send, or be inaccurate due to factors outside our control (network connectivity, third-party API availability, carrier delivery, etc.).

SMS Program — Low Insulin Alert Service

Program name: MyTandemApp Low Insulin Alerts
Description: Sends an SMS message when your configured insulin cartridge level drops below your chosen threshold.
Message frequency: Varies based on your pump usage; typically no more than a few messages per day, limited by a one-hour cooldown between alerts.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-in: During onboarding or later in Account Settings, you enable "Text (SMS) alerts", enter your mobile number, and check a separate consent box to agree to receive these messages. See our SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy for details.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message, or disable SMS alerts in Account Settings, to stop receiving messages at any time.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information, including a valid mobile number if you opt in to SMS alerts.
You are responsible for keeping your Tandem Source credentials up to date so syncing continues to work.

Sharing Your Data

You may invite other users ("followers") to view your pump data and receive low-insulin alerts. You are responsible for the people you invite and can revoke their access at any time in Account Settings.

Disclaimer of Warranties

My Tandem App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accurate data, or timely delivery of alerts.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Tandem App and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to health outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of My Tandem App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
