My Tandem App ("we", "us", "our") provides a personal monitoring dashboard for Tandem t:slim X2 insulin pump users. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and password.
Tandem Source credentials: your t:connect / Tandem Source username and password, stored encrypted, used solely to fetch your pump data on your behalf.
Pump data: glucose readings, insulin (cartridge) levels, basal/bolus history, and pump battery status retrieved from Tandem's servers.
Notification preferences: your mobile phone number (if you opt in to SMS alerts), email notification settings, and alert thresholds.
Sharing settings: if you invite another user ("follower") to view your data, that user's email address and the relationship between your accounts.

How We Use Your Information

To display your pump's glucose, insulin, and battery status on your dashboard.
To send you (and any followers you've authorized) low-insulin alerts via email and/or SMS, based on your configured preferences and thresholds.
To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
To troubleshoot sync issues with your Tandem account.

SMS Notifications

If you enable SMS alerts and provide a mobile phone number, we use that number solely to send you low-insulin alert messages. Message frequency depends on your pump usage and alert threshold. Message and data rates may apply. You opt in during onboarding or in Account Settings by enabling SMS alerts, entering your number, and checking a consent box. You can opt out at any time by disabling SMS alerts in Account Settings or by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

We do not share your phone number, or any other personal information, with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used only by our SMS provider (Twilio) to deliver the alert messages you've requested, and are not sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We use the following service providers solely to operate the application:

Tandem Diabetes Care — the source of your pump data, accessed using your provided credentials.
Twilio — delivers SMS alert messages, if enabled.
Resend — delivers email alert messages, if enabled.
Our hosting provider, to operate the application and store data securely.

Data Retention & Security

Your Tandem credentials are stored encrypted at rest. Pump metric history is retained to power your dashboard charts. You may disconnect your Tandem account at any time from Account Settings, which clears your stored credentials and stops syncing.

Your Choices

Update or remove your phone number and notification preferences at any time in Account Settings.
Disconnect your Tandem account at any time in Account Settings.
Revoke access for any follower you've shared your data with.
Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
